Elana Durden, M.S.
Elana is a driven, organized, and compassionate Clinical Mental Health Counselor with extensive experience working with children and adolescents in a variety of settings. She possesses a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Kennesaw State University and a Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Tennessee. She is seeking licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor and is working at our practice under the supervision and direction of Jessica Hallam Anderson, MS, LPC, CPCS, RPT-S. Elana has experience working with clients of all ages, and has a specific passion for serving children and adolescents. Prior to joining our practice Elana worked within a fast paced community mental health environment and provided therapy in high schools. She has also worked in a residential program for foster children. Elana has experience and training in Child-Centered Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Family Therapy. Elana is easy to connect with and has a casual, approachable style to therapy.
